The interaction between students enhances the learning process and adds another dimension to the subjects being studied. That's why Scrap University believes in the power of your contributions. We not only want to provide you with a broad collection of resources, we want you to be a part of creating them. That's why we have many opportunities for you to become more involved on campus and to showcase your creative works.

Do you have knowledge about a particular subject within scrapbooking? Have you tried a new product and would like to write a review of it? Would you like to share a technique you created or just learned with someone else? Maybe you have some photography or organizational tips to share. Are you are business owner that have found ways to have a successful class program?

If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, then you are a perfect candidate to submit an article to be published on our website! If you're worried about your writing ability, don't be. We will help edit the article for you and you'll be able to review it before it is published.

Our library of resources is based on being an open community of contributors. Your submissions belong to you as do the copyright permissions for those articles that are published on our site.

In order to submit an article, please follow these guidelines:

  1. The article should be written in Microsoft Word or as a simple text document. It must be an editable document.
  2. If pictures are included in the article, each picture must also be submitted as a separate file.
  3. When submitting a simple text file that has images associated to it, mark where each picture should be placed within the text by typing [IMAGE NAME] as it's placeholder.
  4. Files that will be uploaded can only contain alphanumeric, "-" or "_" characters and cannot have any spaces within the name.
  5. Use our Article Submission form to submit your files to us.

We all have favorites when it comes to words that inspire us. It could be something you wrote yourself or just something you found. We only ask that you give proper credit to the original creator. If the work is not your own, we would appreciate it if you first search within the existing entries to ensure it is not already in our collection.

Contributing to our Inspirational Words is done directly within the web pages. There are a few ways to add a new entry:

  2. When browsing the collection, click on the Add New link.
  3. When browsing the collection, click on the Back To Control Panel link and then click on the Add New button.

We need your help to fill in some of the gaps within our Virtual Bookshelf. We know that there are great books available that we don't have in our collection. We also are missing information, especially the Table of Contents, for many of the books we do have. So take a look at the books you personally have and help make our collection more complete by sending us the book information.

We're always looking for that unique link that adds to our resources! If you've found a website that isn't about scrapbooking but is a great resource for scrappers, pass it along to us. We'll review it and add it to our Links page.

To submit a link for consideration, fill out our Links Form.

Our Coffee House Forum and Art Gallery are other places that you can share your knowledge with fellow scrappers, instructors and store owners. Registration is required to post but it is free and takes only a few minutes.

We have several areas where you can post public comments and ratings. Both the Art Gallery and the Library's Resource Center allow you to make individual comments and ratings for each entry.

If you prefer to send your comments directly to us, use our Contact Form. We are always open to hearing from you and we love to have feedback on how we're doing!
